Most good western wear stores cleaned and blocked hats, they used steam, not sure how a wool hat would do with that. Who knows where a good western store anymore, they are getting scarce as hens teeth.

Hopefully that does it, the only real way to see, is either wait and see if it does all right on longer trips, where to see if the pump heats up, or run it for an hour or so and then check fuel pressure with the vacuum line pulled off of the...

I don't know if they still make the very same pants, but about 15 years ago I bought 2 pair of carhart insulated pants, with full length zippers on the legs. These are like the bibs, but just the pants and I wear them pretty much every day I work in...

Hopefully that is the end of it, but that has not been my experience. 9 out of 10 times I have had a ford quit because the filter stopped up, it had already basically killed the pump trying to pump through a mostly stopped up filter, and it had to...

They cited transportation cost as one of the reasons for closing the 3 in Alaska, no problem believing that, but then again the very same trucks deliver to the 4 wallmart stores, HMMM.

Back in the 80's, my brother bought a couple of the milled receiver Russian SKS's (one for himself and one for his teenage son). I shot the nephew's rifle one time at the range. My brother threw a tennis ball out to about 25 yards and I had no...

Outpost75, If I had know then what I know now, I would have gone the same route you did but I did not. Upshot was, I lost a beautiful .44-40 revolver because Ruger did not do the due diligence to make the revolver right in the first place and I did...

Most of the modern made .44-40 that I have personal experience with, have .429 Special/magnum barrels and not the .427 of the original .44-40 barrels. I had a Ruger Vaquero in .44-40 and it shot all over the board with factory ammo because...

Why change a .44-40 to .44 Special or magnum. If I had a .44 magnum(with fixed sights) I would be more interested in trying to re-chamber it to .44-40, my choice of caliber. my choice anyway, james

Socket is 5.5 millimeter, if it has the thick film module on the side of the dist. It is easier to just see if the plugs are firing, you will either need someone to turn it over for you or a remote start button. Can you listen at the tank while...

Yes they do, especially if in good condition. I saw one of those sold just before Christmas in excellent condition for $50.00 plus shipping. The collecting market is beginning to stir on those old metal and cardboards can a little. Right now...

"The rifle is a weapon. Let there be no mistake about that. It is a tool of power, and thus dependent completely upon the moral stature of its user. It is equally useful in securing meat for the table, destroying group enemies on the battlefield, and resisting tyranny. In fact, it is the only means of resisting tyranny, since a citizenry armed with rifles simply cannot be tyrannized."
