    The biodegradable packing peanuts are made from corn (I believe that is correct) and dissolve in water. Heck, you might even be able to flavor them and use as a snack! Lol!

    Now that you know how to disassemble the gun, clean, oil it and put it together. With a brass frame, you will want to keep your powder charges around 18 grains. Yeah, it will hold more powder, but it will also shoot loose quicker.

    I think once you rub in a few more coats of finish, the grain will start popping out and you won't mind the darker color.
