X-caliber has any twist you could possible need for 22 cal AR barrels from 6 to 16 twist! I'm pretty sure my next barrel for an AR will come from them. http://www.x-caliber.net/custom-ar-barrel

One last thought on the matter for me..... A good quality barrel will probably mean just as much as twist rate when it comes to accurately shooting our bullets made from 22lr brass. For example a well made 7 twist barrel from a known barrel maker...

My 9 twist AR barrels also shot bullets made from 22lr brass in the 55 grain range just fine as well. Those where both Armalite 24" barrels. Don't think you will go wrong with anything from 9-12 twist and as you have seen there are those of use...

I got my 12 twist barrel for my AR from White Oak Armament. I have not had a chance to shoot it for accuracy yet. Only put 10 rounds threw it for barrel break in so far. https://www.whiteoakarmament.com/shop/barrels/22-varmint-barrels.html I...

I just got back from shooting ground squirrels this weekend as well :) Dispatched a lot of them with these 22lr jacketed bullets, even got a bit of it on film which I hope to share soon. I happened to have some 70 grain lead tip bullets I made...

Also notice on the above pictured groups how a simple change in powder charge of only .5 grains can make a big improvement on the size of the group. I have noticed all my 22 cal bullets when made from 22lr brass have a desired load that they like,...

One note of interest on the bullets I have been shooting lately...... I have made no attempt to clean the lube off the bullets after they exited the point form die. Simply load them up "as is" and so far they seem to be shooting quite well. I did...

I just bought me a point form die! Yep.....won't be selling this one. I simply grabbed one of the several 22 cal BTSimple point form dies of the shelf, polished it up and proceeded to make me 700 perfect bullets with it. Not one reject, no folded...

It can be done. I would recommend tacking cheap 22 cal bullets, found some 34 and 40 grain jacked bullets that would work for around 10 cents a piece, then squish them in a simple die to produce the stubby round nose you require. Piece of cake! I...

No I do not care what color they are so long as they are good, especially if it allows me to save a couple pennies per unit. Yes I know all about grey hair brought on by these adventures we attempt to master..... I used to have a lot more...

Looks very good! The .092" diameter will be a perfect fit in my BTSimple bullets! When you are pleased with the results I will be very interested in a large bulk order. Keep at it and swage on! BT
