If I have the stuff in the fridge, I prefer homemade, but there are a few box mixes that are good. I prefer the mixes where you have to add egg/milk/oil to the mixes. Shawnee mills makes a good one and Cracker Barrel makes a good one too. I...

................I enjoy the Lee six cavity moulds. IMHO the new 2 cavity blocks are a large improvement over the old "Roller Bearing" alignment types. The new 2 cav's main complaint is the 'Drive Rivet' handle attachment. If the rivet falls out,...

I had gotten a setup that you run a harness to the back of the towed vehicle and it connects to the rear lights. Up front , hook it to your trailer connection and you have left/right/stop and running lights at the back. Doesn't mess with the...

A new barrel might have a restriction too, and you would have to lap it. I would call Ruger first and see what they might say. If its on their dime, then I would go that route, if your dime, try the lapping.

The lapping sounds like a good idea for you. With gas cutting at the top of the barrel, the end of the barrel might not have been cut perpendicular to the bore and you have greater barrel/cylinder gap at the top of the barrel. Also could be the...
