The SAAMI spec. bore diameter for the .44 Magnum rifle is .431", which is the root of a lot of problems with .44 Magnum rifles. They will shoot jacketed bullets OK, but you have to run larger cast bullets to fit the bore, especially with lighter...

When the 375 Winchester came out the reamer companies were selling 38-55 chamber reamers marked 375.. There's only .065" difference in case length. While the 375 may not be as accurate if shot in a 38-55 chamber because of the extra length I think...

A lot of gun manufactures used their own pitch so people could not go to the local hardware store and find a replacement screw. Winchester used a thread pitch of 35.5 tpi for a lot of things and most gunsmith will use 36 tpi as a replacement which...

Pacific tool and gauge sells piloted drill with interchangeable pilots. You will need to add an extension, drills are thread for the extension. I usually drill undersize and then use a reamer to get a close fit. T.J.'s liners 859-635-5560

Most likely I will make my own dies. I set the rim cut for 30-40 brass which may be to tight for the brass that Buffalo arms has. I should have chambered it for 40-65, got the dies for that.

The original mag tube was rusted to far to use. The barrel was a gift from a friend and it now has a liner in it. The original wood will probably work but the nose cap will need some work, it was held on with a bent nail. Caliber is 32-20.
