Of all calibers the .22lr seems to have the greatest variance in chambers and ammo. I have seen 12-15 different reamers for the .22 chamber. Bulk and inexpensive ammo varies all over the place in velocity, length, bullet diameter and bullet profile....

I have little advice to offer in this situation as there is little absolute right and wrong The Bible tells of the prodigal son. The son hit rock bottom and the turnaround happened when "the son came to himself". I believe this is a necessary step...

For your question,I would answer No. I would believe Jesus's account about what happened. Peter tells us that the Word was given to them under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost. That meaning the original manuscripts were inerrant. This does not...

You may want to see if someone will take some of your boolits and see if they can get them to shoot. That would eliminate boolits and loading procedures.

I would buy a set of high cuff welders gloves. I have a Marlin with a micro-groove and it needs a .460 bullet . The Lee mold may not cast large for your bore. Simple powder coating may be necessary to increase your bullet diameter for the bore....

The rifling in standard barrels is usually .004" deep with 2,4,5 or 6 lands. Micro groove has 12 to 16 lands and are about .001 or.002" deep. It is common that Marlin's actual bore size is larger than nominal bore size. Given the larger bore size...

I bought a 69 a that was 95% about 5 years ago. I gave $250 for it. Pre 1968 anybody could order anything from the factory, so there are no absolute rules. I did not know that scopes commonly existed in the 1930's. The side mounted 1/2" scopes were...

In my experience yes 1 to 2 thousandths over actual bore size not nominal. The bores are usually over nominal bore size.

I resized several thousand .223. I had the rim ripped off several times until I started using Hornady lube. I got a small bottle like 4 oz. for $4.00. After that I had no more problems. I used a lube pad and a neck brush. The Hornady is better than...

I don't know of a commercial product that is available. There is just not that many that swage or reload 50 in a travel trailer. I suspect that you will need to make a stand. I have a portable stand that I use with a shotgun press. I used 2" pipe...

I knew a gunsmith that called all semi-automatic pistols females. There was no logic or reasoning to what they liked. I think the same applies to rifles.

There is something amiss in the pictures. The picture in the chamber shows both Weaver tightening nuts on the right side of the action. The front scope mounting ring has the band screws on the same side as the tightening nut. But one picture shows...
