The Texas High Standard Company is in bankruptcy. As I understand it they are not longer doing business because of it. A former executive of HS has started a business servicing the target pistols. He has just started making complete pistols. His...

The most popular bullet for bullseye is the 200 gn. H&G 68 or 69. Most commercial casters cast a hard bullet but it is not necessary for the .45 ACP at target velocities. Many swagged bullets will perform excellent so hardness is not a factor....

I ordered a case of CCI 22 ammo from them about July 20th,2018. I got an email that they had a new computer system and they were experiencing a 2-3 day delay in shipping. The ammo showed up about one week after I ordered. I also received an email...

I think the age of Star loaders explains why they are popular. I know of several Star loaders from the1960's and have loaded thousands or millions of rounds. Many commercial reloaders used them. I bought a Star loader that had an ID tag from a...

    wv109323 started a thread 10 mm vs. 40 S&W in Cast Boolits
I don't want to start a firestorm over the G word but a 40 S&W will cause a smiley face due to an unsupported chamber. My question does the same thing happen with the 10mm? I have not loaded 10 mm before. Does the 10mm have a thicker case? Which...

I think it is a Rem. 37 bolt also. I own a 37 and a Win. 52B. I can not get the Win. to shoot with Rem. 37. I have not tried many types of ammo but the 37 usually comes out on top.

I have 3 different molds of the 68 . One is a true h&g 68, one is a mi-hec and the other is a Saeco. There is difference in nose profile but I can not find a difference in accuracy. All will shoot less than 3" from a Ranson rested 45 wad gun. ...
