Let her buy whatever brand tires she wants with her money. But I would reserve the right to demand the brand of firearm I wanted in the future even if it is more expensive than she likes.

The 2nd Amendment is crystal clear. "shall not be infringed". A right of the Constitution can only be changed by an amendment. Congress passing a law, signed by the President, and ratified by3/4 of the states. A law by Congress should not be able to...

I would keep springs(recoil, mainspring, firing pin and sear). I would keep an extractor and a firing pin stop. All other parts probably will not fail suddenly and give you time to order before replacing.

I dont know your loading procedure but I would find a way to visually inspect the powder level in the case prior to seating the boolit. If you have a heavy load you have to have a light load if the powder is bridging. The different levels ought to...

I like a mold guide so that I have a minimal distance between spout and mold. It seems I get better filled bases when that distance is kept to a minimum. The quicker you can get the lead into the mold the better off you are. As already stated the...

I have a Hammerli free pistol. The cleaning kit came with a nylon brush and a fiberglass cleaning rod. Of course it is a .22LR. A new Hammerli is around $2200. Just saying.

I PC for a Marlin 44 lever. The SAAMI specs for a 44 mag. rifle is .430" and not .428 like the 44 pistol. My experience was common molds would not cast large enough for the larger bore. I PC the boolits at as cast diameter to make them large enough....

I opened up a .358 die. I used a drill with a wood dowel. It took longer than I expected but turned out ok. I used dry paper but the wet may be the ticket. I checked my progress several times by sizing a bullet then miking diameter.

There are some super experts on the 1911forum. There is a section on older 1911's. I do not reconize your s/n format. A commercial 1911 should be a C followed by numerical serial number. If you decide to persue further info on the 1911 forum, I...

The right choice is a firearm she can handle and function. The best caliber is the largest she can be proficient with. Many females can not work the slide on many semi-autos. Renting guns at a range will make the choice easier plus improve her...

Is the seating stem contoured for a RN bullet? If so you could use it for a seating die. The hole allows excess lube to be pushed up and not building up to affect oal. This common on star dies. You would need to crimp in a seperate operation.

In WV there is a wild boar season for the DNR stocked boar that are akin to razorbacks. This has a season and is regulated. Then there are wild undomesticated pigs. These were farm animals that have escaped and now run wild. Since they are not game...
