I stopped by the Owattona Cabelas Saturday to see what was new. I found a Remington 514 that needed a new home. Walked over to the 22 rimfire shelf and the choices was really slim, one box of Federal and lots of Remington Golden BB's. Not much...

Wayne, are you thinking of the Herter's shellholders? Lyman, Texan and a few others used the set screw to secure the shellholder. RCBS used a set screw on the A series presses. And they made a solid shellholder for them, though finding one...

I forgot the proper term, but I found a local attorney that just deals with the aged and all of the planning and legal documents for long term care/living will, death, and inheritance. He even took care of filling for a Ladybird Deed on my house....

The most dangerous MOS to have in RVN was not 11B (infantry) as some would think. It was 11E (armor crewman). 27% of the men with 11E MOS were kia. Proud RVN tanker, Ken

This is what I mean about high priced 45 Colt's. I picked up this same Super Blackhawk, 10.5 Inch from Cabela's in Owattona in November for $450, used with custom grips. In February the same store has a 45 Colt, 7.5 in Blackhawk listed for...

First, is it a real Hollywood? Redding, C-H, RCBS, Dunbar all made that style shellholder. Most of the real Hollywood's were not marked for caliber. If you can post a picture of yours we should be able to sort this out.

A Blackhawk 45 Colt is on my need to get list, I have several hundred rounds of reloads to use up. Problem is they are selling for $900-$1000 in this part of Minnesota. 357 and 44's are going for half that.

Not being a wiseapple, but more info is needed. A stock base model 9000 is half of your quoted price. But the electric Auto Mate version and the Hydraulic version run for what you are quoting. Which is it?

I can't add much other than some war stories. I had both .38 and .45ACP in my collection prior to joining the army. Both were obviously military issue. Upon arriving in RVN we were never issued rifles, but each crewman got a 1911A1 and we had 2...

That is a nice job, the color closely matches the pre-A presses. I like the result, and it really is better looking than the odd color original.

Flounderman, if you pull the pivot pin and drop the ram and handle it will fit in a large flat rate box. Just make sure you tape that handle to the box very securely. If and when the box gets abused a loose handle is the first thing to fall out.
