Today, I picked up a Savage 110E in .222 Remington. Been wanting a bolt action in .222 for a while now, so... when I saw this at a local show, I bit on it. What I do know about it so far is that it was made between '82 & '89, has a 4 round...

Welcome to casting. I learned reloading and casting on my own in 50-60's. Internet would have been helpful but you really learn by doing. Good job, keep doing.....

I have a bucheimer BTEE-14 and a S&W B17 34 holster, both right handed. There are three belts: a 30, 38, and 40 incher. The 40 is bucheimer and the other two are made by Tex shoemaker. Only one of the belts has a buckle on it but it can be moved...

Never a problem with work or getting out of bed. I retired the day job at 50. Closed the bullet business for good when I was 60. I'm 67 now & have never felt the need to go back to a job. I'm happy & love my current routine. I study at least an hour...

As Harles said: nose first for the bullet & let the gas check on the base of the bullet & pull handle fully. This works great if the gas check fits properly. For store bought lube go here: http://www.lsstuff.com/ Carnauba Red will get you started.

I retired in May 2009, never looked back. Have been able to load and shoot more than ever before. Don't see how I had the time to work and do all the other things I did, and now time flies. Enjoy !!

My fav 45 Colt mold is the RCBS 45-230CM intended for cowboy action shooting, for which I have used thousands. It is a rounded fat nose that cuts a nice hole in paper as well as taking the steel targets down in SASS...and it is accurate for me in...

IMO, for the type of project you have in mind and the length of the pieces, you don't NEED a jointer. As Bazoo writes - "You do not need one though if you're working with shorter pieces and you are not going to glue the pieces together to make...

I was told by a very elderly man I did business with that he would take up a petition for me if I was interested. I know they don't recruit but believe he asked because the lodge was very small & getting smaller.

You have every right to be grinning, those Swiss rifles are accurate. Over the past couple of years, I've sort of walked into the purchase of a 1911 and a 96/11. The guy I bought off of first sold me his, the 1911, and said that he had one just...

To a large extent it is personal preference. I like to be able to use a load in any of my guns of the same caliber, but I don't own any "low pressure" guns. In your case, I would work on the seating depth to fit the Uberti and see how they shoot...
