My first 21 months in Indio were spent working custody, and it wasn't as foreign an environment to me as it was to some of the new troops. I put myself through college and supported a young family working at a grain & feed mill in Colton, and about...

Lloyd I've got one on 22/250 S1 3-9x40, not junk by any stretch but equal to other $150 scopes, think Weaver classic V's and I have 3-4 of those. I can not give any feed back on recoil other than 22-250 level recoil. 30 reviews 4.7*...

In a true wildcat situation such as this I would examine the differences in loads between 6mmTCU and 223. That should show you the differences in bore diameter between the two, or what bullet best relates to an 85 gr 6mm from a .223. Then starting...

It is a tough time to ask but how does your gun shoot with factory ammo? That is the standard you're trying to reach. If you shoot 4" at 13 yards with factory the problem isn't in your loads.

I don't know about 200 yards. I use WC820 which I understand to be military equivalent of AA9. I shoot it in 357, 44 Mag 45 Blackhawk, 30-30 and 7/30 Waters. I use cast exclusively, a heavy crimp and heavy for caliber bullets, ie 175+ 357. 250+ 44,...

The Grenade Story (cont'd)-- The early 1980s saw the first shots fired in the economic battle that would eventually destroy inland southern California. The closure of Kaiser Steel in Fontana in 1982-83 put 4500 people out of work. These were...

The last decade of my career was spent carrying 45 ACP and the 230 grain W-W Ranger SXT (now relegated to Winchester White Box status, same stuff/same performance). From a 5" barrel these run at 900 FPS, and are not a "+P"-rated load. Either Lyman...

In 2018 they were the most counterfeited MO out there. My PO opens the day with around $20 change and occasionally by 4 PM they can cash a $200 MO but not always. I ask them if it's good but take them to the bank if it is over $100. 2 months out of...

Never tried PC in the 243. I used either Lymans 85 gr or RCBS 95 with 2400. Started with 11 gr and went up a little. IIRC about 1600 fps, lots of fun consider it a 22 lr replacement.
