I think in the Bulldog you'll want less bullet weight for easy shooting. A .433" Speer round ball over 3 grs of Red Dot is fun. The standard 246 gr/750 fps is not that fun unless you're shooting a bigger revolver. Just my .02

John Browning converted a 92 Win. to semiautomatic operation in a couple of days. It used a muzzle plate to work the action. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk

I just shot this group in the semi darkness. 100yds 1" dot 22-250 6x scope. The remarkable thing is that I replaced the T3 Lite plastic stock with the Walnut T3 Hunter stock. No scope adjustments needed. My T3 25-06 behaves the same using the same...

If it won't shoot well (Mosin) in it's original condition throwing money at it won't help, short of rebarreling. Sporterizing milsurps is a losing game nowadays. BUT you can buy the ones that have been, cheaply. LGS has a Centurion P14 .300 Win mag...

I built my 1916 Oviedo Mauser in 30-30 Win. just to see if it would work. It shot cast well from the beginning and j-words too. It's one of my very favorite guns now. If someone told me a few years ago that I'd mount a 10x scope on a 30-30 I'd have...

Deer. Pigs, coyotes and other varmints. I'm sure it will end up heavy so it won't be used for still hunting or stalking. In the blind watching the feeder will be it's forte. As with all AR15 cartridges, it's "almost" something else- in this case a...

I don't see any reason to call Char gar "wrong" or doubt his word. His rifle meets his expectations. Others want something different. Neither are wrong, nor should we expect others to be unhappy because Remlin doesn't make it the way we want it!

My friend had a custom bench rifle built on an XP100 action in .222. It would put 5 shots in a 1/2" target dot at 100 yds if you could. I had a 700 VS .222 that was brilliant but lost out to the 22-250 on prairie dogs. And we had a 700 ADL .222 that...

I give loading advice based on my actual results in factory rifles with standard chambers, twist rates and basic accurizing.
My goals for using cast boolits are lots of good, cheap, and reasonably accurate shooting, while avoiding overly tedious loading processes.
