hand turning a drill bit in a press would cut it out too. 5 minutes with a dowell and some sand paper, some lapping compound, your pocket knife, whatever you got. the worst that could happen is you make it a little too big and have to size it down...

that's why i use 2 of the 1-1/2" straps. both go from the back of the wheeler to the tie down hooks in the front of the bed. it's kind of a pain to strap everything in place,,,, But.

I load most of my revolver castings at .001"+ throat diameter, some are right at throat diameter. I can't see much difference in downrange accuracy, and haven't leaded a bore for several years. FWIW.......a week ago I was firing a new-to-me S&W in...

There IS something to flat-pointing the RN 22 LR rounds that enhances lethality. I am not interested in the Paco tool at all--anyone who has used a Lee Loader knows why I say this. I have filed little flats on my bullets as a shade-tree experiment...

You simply plug the power cord into the output from the pids' contactor instead of the wall plug. I just put an extension cord end on my contactor so all it does is to turn the power off and on to the pot.

excellent. a lot of guy's don't realize that the cartridge itself becomes part of the maschinery in the lever guns and especially in the 92 types. their length and bullet weight/shape influences how well they feed and at what speed they feed....

9's work for lots of stuff if you have the draw dies. you can pull it all the way down to 30 caliber rifle jackets but it's something like a 5-6 step draw. they make 40 cal bullets in 1-2 steps and no drama. I use the 40 brass to make 44 mag...

I suppose both Sharpe and Hatcher are basically correct. The problem here is the OP's 45 ACP ammunition is Remington, not Winchester nor Frankford Arsenal. It is possible Remington was still using primers with mercury in them in1918(?).

When you do that, you push the fouling down to the top of the projectile, leaving a nice place to make a corrosion ring in your barrel.
