Yep. Thirty years ago, we had a lot fewer reloaders and the manufacturers were competing for market share. Fast forward to the recent political climate of the past eight or more years and the (reloading) market has exploded in growth. Now it's about...

I bought a Lee Challenger press back in '88 and loaded thousands of rifle rounds and magnum pistol rounds with it with exactly zero problems. When Lee came out with the heavier steel assemblies for the handle and ram movement, I bought a kit for the...

The problem is the Alox and Lundmark vary so much as to viscosity , can - can - can. The age of the mixture has a lot to do with the viscosity of the mixture. Add some Alox, shake well and try to re-coat your bullets. Ben

The Sierria book is a ring binder and designed to be added to. If you need data not in it, contact them and if they have it you will have pages to add to your ring binder. Still no cast data, they don't do cast boolits.

If you are looking for dies for highly unusual calibers or for wildcat calibers check out CH4D. If they don't have them on the shelf they will make what you want - just give Dave the dimensions you need.

It won't be full in my location, but I plan on fishing while it is going on, to see if it affects the bite.

I am always taken me to task, when casters say "slug" the bore to determine the correct size cast bullet to use. I say, all that determines is the size of the tightest spot in the barrel, better to start a bullet into the muzzle and make sure the...

Great! I'll be looking forward to results. I will get a chance to try some shortly. New member Ginsing lives near me and he just bought the same Lyman clone mould so will be casting some up shortly. Nonetheless, I'll still be very interested...

No experience with the cape bufflers, and I want none. I verified this via a dicey encounter I had with a sub-compact C/B relative c. 1984 and its absorption of 3 slugs from my unit's 870 in order to quiet it enough to approach with a 4th slug...

It will be either my .50 flintlock rifle or my smoothbore flintlock. The smoothbore has already taken a large doe but the .50 is yet un-christened. I'd post photos of both but I cannot get them posted from "imageBB" or "postimage" storage sites. ...

I will probably get beat up for this, but in my opinion hunting cape buffalo with a handgun is like bringing a knife to a gunfight. Just sayin'. Could be he was using a 475 Turnbull, but I am guessing a Linebaugh. "Bring enough gun." I believe that...

I like that HP mould! If I had a rifled gun I'd like that in solid and HP versions. So these moulds are well made? Looks like they cast a decent slug. I'm kinda thinking of the Lyman sabot slug clone. I wanted in on the Mihec group buy but talked...

Given recent history I would want to have a couple powders in line. Both Unique and 2400 were unobtainium for quite a while. Now they are back on the shelves, but to have another option might be nice.

Casting was 'mentored' by the guys on when I started to cast. Was reloading from 16 and taught by Guns and Ammo and the Sierria manual. Everyone I know who casts other than you guys I taught.

The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.
