Cheapest and easiest way is to shoot the right diameter bullet, proper alloy hardness, good lube. Then you don't have leading to deal with.

The context of that phone conversation was no more boxes created/sponsored by you because you told a member who refused to forward or return a box which only contained junk (verified by another known member) he would "suffer" if he did not do as you...

I would just buy some threaded rod from the correct steel. A foot is about $6.

I'm not laughing - I shoot my 44-40's with BP and cast lead for the same reason - even though the guns are replicas!

Not a simple subject - self awareness is a necessary underpinning of Christ awareness. The opposite is those who are oblivious to everything - and we all know some of them. Self obsession, or narcissism - is the more common sinful escape from...

And there was an NRA Commerative made in .25/20 with the bronze disk in the stock. I had one and rebarrelled it with a faster twist and a 22" barrel and my shooting partner has an unfired one that he won at an NRA banquet. They came with a 1:14...

Nope - never had a 6mm/244 Rem. Only one I had was the 25-06. They may have changed it later realizing that they made a mistake. I know mine was a 12 twist. This was back in the 70's.

More than a few years ago I bought a BRNO Mauser 98/22 made in '23. It was soaked in cosmoline and a few days in a black plastic bag wrapped in three layers of paper towels removed most of that dreadful stuff. When I finally got it cleaned up and...

I bought a dozen of those Lodge cast iron ashtrays years ago. They have molded thousands of ingot for me. The cast disk stacks well and is easy to load in my Lee 4-20's or my RCBS 22 lb casting pot.

I'm with Char Gar on this one, I have seen many mix and match 1911's with a wide variety of barrels installed, and swapped between guns. I've never seen a lug shorn off. I think the engagement would need to be way out of spec for this to happen. ...

I still haven't tried the 32/20 brass in my 30 Carbine BH. 30 Carbine ammo runs fine, so if it ain't broke I don't try fixing it.

I use my regular twelve inch Dewalt mitre saw. I just drill the appropriate size hole through a block of wood, trim to .1 longer than I need, clamp it to the fence and use a shell holder on the case head to register the case against the wood block....

10 seems to work very well, but they did needlessly change some things that make the transition more of a PITA. "My computer" is gone, search is different, some changes in the drop down menus, and the desktop layout is different, but you can load a...

You might ask Lyman whether the handle you're seeking is the same as the one used on the T-Mag press. If so, you'll know what to do.

The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!
