Given your intent for the gun, don't over look the Kahr CW380. Small, accurate and well built for your stated purpose. While a bit more expense wise compared to the P3AT or Ruger LCP's, it's well worth it. Good luck on your search. Murphy

Keep it. Okay, so there are several alternatives to lubing and sizing bullets these days with power coating, liquid alox, pan lubing, push through sizers...etc. Guess I'm too old school and prefer to still use my Star or a Lyman with a...

Ok, I have come to the conclusion that I don't shoot enough or I load too much. I really should not load anymore ammo as I will never shoot all I have loaded so far. I can't help it, I like to load ammo. a couple of buckets 308 and 9mm

I just wish I had bought a Johnson back when you could still get them for $150. On the bright side, if you own a nice example, this project just increased the value of your rifle, by one less as-issued example being available.

I saw an old Ideal bullet mold on Ebay today that is a 165gr .319 rounded flatnose, flat base lead bullet that was originally designed for the early 8x57 (pre-K98 .318" barrels) and other early 8mm rifles. Should be easy sizing down for that .318...

I had the same problem with WC846 (Surplus BLC2) & H335 in my 6.5x50 Arisaka and 303 British rifles in cold weather and with reduced load cast bullets. I will line right up with Outpost75 and jimb16 on reduced ball powder loadings not igniting well...

Texans have been hunting deer and hogs with 22 caliber wildcats for years. I've got a 22 Wildcat rifle based off the 6mm Remington case that I rechambered a 22-250 barrel with a 1-14" twist barrel too a year back. I shoot paper with it so I don't...

A friend of mine has a Rossi 357 lever rifle. I think he has only shot 38's in it. Had it to the range and put one of my 357's in it and the case stuck - and he says it does sometimes with the 38's. I've expanded a 357 case so he can check for...

The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!
