If you are refinishing, tap some glue smeared round toothpicks into the holes, clip and sand smooth. Break them in half first, easier to handle. Once you stain it, they will pretty much disappear.

I would check end prices on auctions. That will give you a ballpark idea. Price ranges in different parts of the country can vary wildly.

I currently have custody of my pastor's 25-06 and have been fireforming brass for it. I was looking at the Bass Pro paper add and saw that Savage is chambering the 25-06 again. Last year no ammo was available for it. I checked Cabela's and they...

Prayers sent for your medical team as well as for your healing. Follow their directions - I know I have screwed up what the MD's have done in the past and have a scar to prove it!

Duds--or perhaps the cups are too hard for the system they are being used within? CCI primer cups of every type are harder than woodpecker lips, worst being their mil-spec #34 and #41 rifle primers. Hardest to softest cups, IME--CCI, W-W, R-P,...

That little 642-1 in 38 Special +P was a delight to shoot on Friday (10/18). No hitches in its git-along whatsoever, 50 boringly reliable rounds downrange at 15 and 25 yards. The tiny OEM pocket grip set did me few favors, but I kept the 6"...

I started out with a Lee 4-20 and when it got very leaky I bought another. Then I found a decent deal on a RCBS Pro Melt 22lb pot and I gave in. Now I use the 2 Lee's to premelt my alloy and when the alloy level on the RCBS falls below half full I...

The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!
