I just mixed 80% ACCOWW along with 20% pure and ended up adding 6% pewter. I casted up a batch and just finished PCing them. I could tell its a lot harder than my 50/50 as soon as it cooled just by scratching it with my fingernail. I'll give it a...

Not everyone needs (or wants) to powder coat, myself included. The Lee TL design boolit molds are fine for many, many uses. I shoot a LOT of 38 Special wadcutters lubed in this manner. I also use the Lee 314-90 SWC extensively in my 30 Cal rifle for...

If it was all clip on WWs you probably have a ternary alloy of 97% +/_ lead, 2 - 21/2% antimony, .05% tin and some other trace elements. If there was stick on WWs in there that will raise the % of lead depending on the % or stick ons as they...

Good video, I use this method but use a "n" reamer instead of the 2 drill bits and the worlds cheapest trimmer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlAFF79us8U

the lee 452-230-2R -TL Works well in more guns than the lee -- 452-230-2R & 452-230-TC unless you sett them pretty deep

I had an FN FAL and liked it. Very accurate and reliable. The only complaint I had (with mine anyway) was that it was extremely hard on brass. I ended up trading it off for that reason...should have just kept it. It's an excellent platform for sure,...

After what Iíve read in the post I tagged above Iím going to download starting at 21gr and work up in .5 gr increments to 23g and load and test again in some softer media like wet newspapers. Iíd like to get better than the current load which got a...

Makes sense. To big of a variable since I'm seating further in and the boolit tappers. Ill just have to do a trial and error till I get the right "taper"

I have an rcbs single stage press so I have to remove my die every time I use it. They only way to get it exactly the same would be to weld it in place and trim my brass every time(which I do). Can you tell my my sarcasm, lol. I guess there is no...

Yes, it's the collet style. I am loading for my 77/44. I've tried some 100 yard groups with it and most measure from 2.5-4". If I was using it for plinking and shooting cans at 25 yards I wouldn't care. I'm sure if I crimped a batch and then made...

I have a "Varminter" 20" White Oak Armament upper on one of my AR's. I ordered it with a 1/12 twist because I prefer shooting the lighter bullets, specifically the Speer 52 gr HP. The Sierra shoots nearly as well. My go-to load is 26.5 gr of H335....

No offense taken at all but I would assume over or under crimping on each batch of boolits is going to cause different pressures and different velocities. I'm hoping someone has experimented with this to give me an idea of a crimp diameter to try....

I am using devastators and crimping past the crimp groove being the boolit is too long and won't feed if load I load it at the crimp groove. I'm using the lee factory crimp die to crimp. I overcrimped it the other day and ended up with a lead ring...

All cleaned. No leading found. I'm going to work up a few more loads starting with 21gr in half GR increments and work my way up to 23gr and test for accuracy.

Enjoyed your post. That is not the first time I have heard "You should not shoot anyone you can get someone else to shoot for you."
