Lyman's formula for making #2 alloy (BHN 15 - 16) has always worked excellently for me using Linotype. It make an excellent alloy and since the antimony and tin are balanced (5% each) softer alloys can easily be made, especially 95/2.5/2.5 by...

I read somewhere that firemen would/could not be hurt by exploding ammo, it wouldn't penetrate their fire suits. There is no barrel/chamber to help the cartridge build pressure or direct the boolit.

Very true but you can't use the normally much cheaper to purchase used rifle action to do a pistol since it becomes a short barrel rifle in the eyes of the ATF. It was a reply to

I will keep my 6.5 x 284's http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/2017/10/new-hornady-6-5-prc-precision-rifle-cartridge/ but I only have those in single shot match rifles. The 6.5 PRC may resolve some mag issues like the 6.5 Creedmoor does but I have...

I have a P220, and love it also. It's accurate and dependable, no complaints with it at all. My favorite load for it is the RCBS 201 SWC with 4.8 grains of Bullseye. I use Federal 150 primers in it though. I noticed that say that you are using...
