Raccoons, skunks & opossums are the nest raiders. No one around here ever hunted or trapped much of them here & I'd say the numbers are much lower since they can't get in to the new style garbage cans issued here. I haven't seen a raccoon or skunk...

In older people UTI's can cause delirium. With all she's been through recently it is reasonable to think it is the cause of her hallucinations, unless they have her on a high a dose of pain medication, which would also cause the vomiting. The...

I think it might be several reasons, one being reloaders looking to save on higher priced J-words. Second, worries of ammo shortages/stockpiling. Third, which is the reason I joined here, laws in my state get swept through in the middle of the...

If your only shooting 50yards I'd go with the smoothbore barrel with IC or even a mod. and use Remington or Winchester foster style slugs. They should do very well in the Remington smoothbore barrels at that range and are very cheap.

I heard about this just yesterday. These cycles are pretty basic as habitat increases, the prey animals increase, as the prey animals increase the predators increase, as the predators increase the prey animals decrease when the prey animals...

While it's true if there are less predators there should be less predation if an area can't provide enough food it can't support as much game either.

Predators are a part of the problem but not because there are too many, it's because of the loss of habitat leave grouse or any other upland game more exposed to them. If the ground cover isn't thick enough they are more exposed during nesting, if...

I have a 24D in 22mag/20ga paid $300 for it a few years ago. Don't ever see Savage 24's around here. I had it imported from Colorado from a family member. I like the ability to have either option for upland game.
