New Lee 358-125-RF mold arrived today. I ordered it off eBay and got a good deal on it. I decided to give it a try out this afternoon. My pot is a Lee 4-20 and I got everything up to heat, lubed the mold and was dropping good boolits with the...

Here is a file for the user manual. https://www.lymanproducts.com/media/user/file/2/7/2749856_2745898_heating_element_115v-230v.pdf It doesn't show the element but the cord comes in from the side near the front and has to be located under the...

Good point. I grew up in a time when you didn't have to worry about that kind of thing. I need to stop and think a bit before I react because if I go with my ingrained reaction, I won't consider the fluid thing.

I have met way too many people who want to buy a standard cartridge and load it like a magnum. I know of one enterprising young man who bought a 243 and decided he wanted a 243 magnum and ended up blowing up the rifle twice. First one was free, the...

To just store them, I use heavy zippered freezer bags from the grocery store. You can see through the bags and write on them as well as the fact they are cheap. I use these bags for test rounds of pistol or rifle loaded rounds too. Makes keeping...

You can get appropriately sized lead at most fishing supply locations. Sinkers and split shot are made from soft lead. Just get some near the right size and drive them in. They will deform to fit the barel as long as they are reasonably close. The...

Ed Harris wrote an article on loading for the 9mm. In that article he stated that if you took standard 9mm military ball and seated the bullet .062 deeper(1/16 inch) you would get a pressure increase of 12,000 to 15,000 psi making it roughly...

I built up a crud ring in a single afternoon of shooting 38 special in my 357 on several occasions. Probably 300 rounds. This crud ring was difficult to get out, and I always clean my revolvers after each session. I finally figured out it was a...

If the Jesus came to me and gave me the test of Thomas, then told me the Bible was not wholly correct I would surely believe him. To do otherwise would be like worshiping a golden calf not the True God.

LOL,,I see your problem now. In some respects, I wish they had given an option for magazine capacity choice. The pistols I purchased came with only one size magazine so I didn't have your issue.

The mags they are sending should be identical to what was supplied with the pistol. I have used the gear up deal 3 times over the years and each time that was what was sent. I just received the latest batch today.

You can use the same button but the hornet may not fit in the rifle M Die. The reason for two part #s may be the shorter case needs the pistol die.

I can attest to how well the XD line from Springfield handles cast boolits in 9mm and 45ACP. Mine shoot great. I haven't had any case bulges in mine that I know of and I reload all my cases.

Walks----It doesn't matter how tight you hold the mold handles if the sprue plate is very tight. The sprue plate handle has enough leverage to push the mold faces open even with the other handles held tightly if it is binding on the locator bolt....

One of the things I haven't seen anybody talk about yet is how you close the mold properly. With the 6 cavity, it is best to rest the bottom of the mold on a flat surface to help the locator pins line up properly so they don't wear prematurely. The...
