I had it so bad the computer went into deep freeze. ISP had a hard time figuring it out, finally sent out a techrep on the fifth day. No idea what the problem was, but they fixed it. Call your ISP.

Look at some trajectory charts. For any appreciable increase in flat trajectory, you need to add 300 fps to your current load.

great spreadsheet! Thank you for going to all the effort to do this. I had just crunched some numbers on a Superhard/reclaimed shot alloy mix and your spreadsheet matched my pencil/paper/calculator math without all the effort! Bruce

creeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaakkkkkk! Opening the casket to update that my search for a middleweight 6.5 mold has concluded. I just found a Lyman two-cavity mould on Ebay that is cut for their 266455 and their 320366 bullets. It was a buy-now auction and I...

a 30-39 is a .308x39mm Wildcat that I believe was designed in the 70/80s as a .30 American cartridge. Actual 30 caliber bore with bigger cartridge space than the 30 Carbine.

I've got both black and grizzly around. I'm not too concerned about either, as the "researchers" haven't messed with them. If we get one that is a nuisance, the F&G will bring out a trap, and relocate them, so they can be a problem for someone else.

Thanks Duke. I have read a lot of the stuff you posted especially the 5.7mmx28 for 30 cal and it has helped me alot. The 40 from 9mm is pretty strait forward. I also made dies for my 44 from 40 smithe cases. Same thing just a bigger version. This is...

Or, you can use a small ball peen hammer and an anvil, to stretch the nose of the safe engagement a few thousandths.

I beg to differ. I'm currently building the last guns for North Star West, and I knew Curly for many years. Curly had made all of the lock part patterns, and the wax casts were sent out to be cast, and then returned for final polish and assembly....

What I used was a rod that was sold to be used in muzzleloaders. Try it for yourself. Pull your barrel, and start sawing back and forth on the underside. Let me know your results. I know what mine was, and I know I will never put fiberglas in one of...

I did some testing of fiberglas rods on a section of barrel years ago. It was clear that I could have completely sawed the barrel in half with it. Best substitute is brass.

I sized these and de caped them years ago to reload but don't shoot my 9mm's that much any more. I figured I would sacrifice them for 40 cal bullets. I will wait till I process some 223 and blackout brass and save the spent primers.
