I have a close friend from Ethiopia. His daughter "roasts" the green beans in a saucepan over high heat, presents the pan for our approval, then grinds the beans very fine. They serve it in tiny cups. It's much like espresso, very strong and...

About 3gr of pistol powder and an appropriate sized ball should be a good 20 yards chicken load from what I've read.

Good thinking ........kinda like the .450 Marlin using a different belt location so regular magnum brass could not be used.It really just copied the .458x2" American and they were done up custom in converted Win 94 big bores.

I think JES uses 1-15" @ .376 groove Have you shot 200-255gr bullets through it and if so how did it shoot.Mine is a hunter not a target gun.Any 336 I ever owned would shoot jacketed under an 1" at 100 yards with handloads it liked.I'll settle on...

I had a FN FAL here in Canada before the repressive gun laws began in the early 80's never did get to use it on deer before it became prohibited.Portuguese AR10's,Iranian G3's and the FAL were $500 surplus.

Have a 1894 /1911 and a 1892/1913 the former needed a carrier spring and the later a new barrel. You don't need parts unless it's wood down the road when you can't get it.Planning on living to be 100 years old or just another prepper?

Your A-10 Warthogs 20mm and 30mm are also gain twist.I always thought it would slur the bullet as the rate of spin increased. Lilja flirted with the idea and went back to traditional.Bartlien makes them.Pope used them with his competitive SS and...

Working on getting one done so just need some feedback/advice. I was thinking 1-16 twist for 200-268gr bullets J and cast with a .376 groove. The original Win was 1-18" and the Ballards 1-20" Was thinking in a pinch factory ammo could be used.I have...

Trade for it......and then trade it away for what you want/need. Why mess with it?

Lower velocity means more time in the barrel. Even though the recoil is slight, the muzzle rises farther before the projectile exits the barrel.

Usta was from the pails I collected long years ago (I still have 10, thanks be to a Merciful God!) I'd net about 80%. A recent gift of 'new' is yielding ~60% if I'm lucky. A friend new to casting says he's throwing away more than he gets, netting...

I'm not sure heroin addicts are that easy to spot for the casual observer. I knew a guy that was a junkie and functioned just fine. For a couple years I had no clue. Eventually, he developed a condition where his immune system attacked his...
