Ruger barrels have gotten a lot better since Bill passed. Bill Ruger accomplishments legendary and they are part of history, however, he never understood or cared about serious accuracy. Best example are the 25 rifles that Bill Ruger donated...

Personally I find the 2x - 7x or 2.5x - 8x more versatile. This one is in your price range. https://www.amazon.com/Leupold-VX-Freedom-2-7x33mm-Riflescope-Reticle/dp/B078XGNNPN

Try a different cap brand, or take out the nipples, chuck them in a drill, and sand them down until you have a good fit.

Same for me. I tried Rem 6 1/2's, CCI 400's and various pistol primers and Rem 7 1/2 worked best. I have read the 6 1/2 and 7 1/2 have the same priming compound with the only difference as cup thickness??? It could just be a lot to lot variation...

I've never seen one that shot that poorly period. That being said most of the ones I have done are NM rifles that needed bedding and or a new barrel. I did a dozen rack grade unfired M-14's with the standard barrels and 4 or 5 shot well enough to...

What size do your bullets measure with a micrometer, not a caliper? What is your alloy? What do your bbls slug out to? How big are your cylinder throats? It looks to me that you may be sizing a too hard alloy to an assumed size that may or...

I picked up a taper reamer at a pawn shop for a few $$ and took my dremel tool and cut off the end so that what was left would just fit in the primer pocket. Chucked it in the floor drill, on slow, and just hold the case in a glove and push the...

Yup, Federal and Norma tend to be on the softer side. Lots of the long range competitors determine what the max pressure they are willing to run by when number of fires before the primer pocket loosens. For me I liked to get 8 -10 loadings before...

Early 70's Woolworths would have 22 ammo for $3.75 on sale with a super sale of $1.98 with a limit of two bricks. I would make my sister, aunt and my mom goes so to $15.84 I would get 4,000 rounds of 22. That would last me two weeks to a month.

Lead still vaporizes at 1100 F so keeping your melt temps under that do a lot before you need a good respirator. I believe anything for CV would work as you're more concerned about smoke and dirt than lead vapor.

I believe it is close to H322, check out the burn rate charts. Now, if you have 2015BR then contact the benchrest boys, you might be surprised what they might pay for that, I have heard.
