What caliber? I have 2K of 45-70 and 8K of 45 Colt that I am very happy with. I also have some 348 and 375 Win Brass but i haven't loaded any of those so no comment. I did load 5K of 380 Auto for a buddy years ago with no issues but I have never...

Starline anneals the same as every other manufacturer with the exception of some of the straight walled original blackpowder cartridges that are often loaded to well above SAAMI specs. Starline recommends that the user anneal for BP usage to...

Since the burn rates of these powders are relatively close, both are ball powder and the amount mixed is very small it really is more of a comfort and knowledge concern than a safety concern. If you are competent enough to purchase and use surplus...

Most firearms using stainless use a 416/420 or 630 (17-4) stainless steel. It will be magnetic. Non-magnetic stainless steel is far more corrosion resistant but it generally not heat-treatable. As such they are too soft for most firearms...

The rust is in a matte part of the slide and also in the serrations. I have bronze wool but haven't tried it. I'm thinking it may work in the serrations, but would be hesitant to use it in the matte section as I don't want to have a spot in the...

Hello all, I have a couple of stainless 1911's which are rusting, yep, I know. That's one reason I bought stainless to begin with. I have never used Evaporust but have read good things about it. When used on stainless are there any problems or...

I would be looking for the PPU brass when the snow melts, mixed brass is never the best choice for accuracy but I have used plenty of it! Now this is just me but I would pull down a PPU loaded round and weigh the powder charge, measure a bullet for...

I think you were writing to me, and I suspect that if it were the only .32 option I had, I might do that, but it's one of many for me, so no need for versatility with the other stuff I've got.

I've got a custom 10" barrel in 32 long for the contender frame, and several .32 caliber rifles. You won't be disapointed by the fun factor and usefulness as a woodswalking gun.

If you have a good ball, they don't rotate from a smooth bore. Don't worry about removing the sprue nub. Just have them pointed towards the target. If you have the slightest interior inconsistency such as a void in the ball, they can go off path...

I'm not fan of shimming scope bases. once you do the two rings are not concentric, and a good chance you will warp or bend the scope. Even when the rings are seemingly concentric I usually lap the rings to assure there is no stress on the scope....

I wouldn't use dacron as a filler in bottle necked rifle cases with any powder faster than say Alliant 2400, SR4759 speed. I would NEVER use a dacron filler with Traiboss. There was someone on here using dacron with Unique, don't know if he messed...

if that is one of the pistols that was a falling block made earlier and called a BF at that time(think EAB bought the rights to make it later), they had a 7mm made from 357mag cases IIRC and it had only about a neck length of 1/8" or so. It shot...
