I`d like to see either a .45 LC or a .454 Cassull be brought out. It would work out great in some of our Northern states that allow straight walled cartridges for deer hunting.Robert

For what the cost of Lars bullet lubes cost and the ease of getting about anything you want, I`d go that route and be sure what you are getting to use.Robert

When steel first came out lots of people reloaded it using standard shotcups. The shot would push thru the pedals and leave grooves starting at the forcing cone. On the ones I have seen it was worse at the chamber end.

I watch an auction site when anvils come up for bidding. I`ve noticed that even the light (?) ones of 50 lbs. or so bring in the several hundred dollars. I have several pieces of railroad track that I have made into anvils complete with a horn. ...

I am not sure how many deer I have killed with a .243 but it is around 50 or 60. Mostly with 100 grain softs points. Never lost one with it and never had to track one over 75 yards. Snow with a crust on it is great for tracking. Fresh fluffy...

Same as with me and my #1 Redding scale. I got it in early `60`s from P&S Sales in Tulsa for about $10 as I recall. I still use the scale minus any dampening oil as I`ve become adept at `reading` the pointer swing for more or less powder.Robert

My 338/06 is a 1917 Remington Enfield that I did a good amount of grinding on. I put a Shaw barrel on and a Fajen stock. I straighten the floor plate and put a Timney trigger on. I prefer using Winchester `06 brass as R-P and Fed brass have given...
