The original 22 High Wall actions were the same action that were used in the centerfire chamberings. You will need to replace or rework the breech block and extractor for 45-70 or 6.5 Swede.

Parts and info here: https://trapdoorcollector.com/ The 1873 breech blocks are not correct for a 50/70 but sights and trigger guard looks correct for a 1868. https://trapdoorcollector.com/m68.html

Blackhorn 209 is by far the cleanest of the Subs. Real BP the cleanup isn't bad. Recommend not using Pyrodex since it is actually corrosive verse hydroscopic like real BP.

RCBS makes the current version but it works basically the same but the RCBS doesn't have the overall length feature that Mo's had. Both the Mo's and RCBS are primarily for set shoulder bump but the RCBS does have an add bullet seating length gauge....

First thought seeing that stock was JL Herter, he had roll over mannlicher semi finished late 60's. In 1969 I got a semi finished Brasilian rosewood roll over stock for mauser, it cost $35 you could buy a decent walnut stock from them for $10. Brand...

I prefer brass to not be cleaned. It's much easier to tell if its once fired or multiple fired.

That would be correct if you were necking .243 Win to .260 Rem since the cases are the same length. With the 6.5 CM you are sizing the shoulder and body down to form the neck on a shorter case than the 243 Win.

It looks like you have a couple burrs on the edge of the sprue plate, a cotton ball will find them, then just touch the edge with some 400 paper to remove and lube. I use Amsoil 100 synthetic 2 stroke oil on locator pins and sprue screw and plate....

Lloyd I've got one on 22/250 S1 3-9x40, not junk by any stretch but equal to other $150 scopes, think Weaver classic V's and I have 3-4 of those. I can not give any feed back on recoil other than 22-250 level recoil. 30 reviews 4.7*...

While per Dave Emary Hornady's senior ballistics scientist the Creedmoor’s parent case is the.30 TC but that is mostly marketing hype. It's actually the brainchild of Denise DeMille and like a whole host of others like the 6mmXC, 240 NMC, 6mm...

Killed between 40 and 50 whitetail buck and a few does with a 243 most with one shot. Depending on angle and size I found a couple of bullets just under the skin. Never lost one or had a hard recovery.
