I have been experimenting with non-heeled bullets in my original chambered Cadet. I have a few different bullets I have that are sized to .313" that seem to work decent. In the pic below L to R: 32-20 case with thinned rim and RCBS 120...

Hmm...that's what those are? I have a handful of those rounds loaded. I knew they were different so I didn't mess with them but I didn't know they were used for that? Thanks for the info!

1.145" for the auto and 1.150" for the revolver. I have shot the auto load in a few different Glocks and a Keltec 9mm carbine that uses Glock mags. I haven't tried it in anything else. Neal in AZ

I put the cases in those 50 round plastic ammo trays base first and then flip them over on some cement pavers. That way the case head it facing up and I can ensure I get a good anneal on the thicker head when I hit them with a propane weed burner.

I have the NOE 37 gr., both plain base and GC 45 gr. WFN and the 55 gr. RCBS copy. Since I have magazine fed Anschutz hornets I tend to use the 37 gr. quite a bit as it seems to have the best shape for that. I do use the WFN in my single shot...

I use soft lead and HiTek coat mine. 10 gr. of Unique pushes them out just under 1,000 fps in my Marlin 1895 SBL. They shoot right on at 50 yds with my scope setting for the heavier 45-70 loads.

I get the same sort of "crease" in some of my bullets. I found it was right where there was a lube groove in my cast core. Doesn't always happen, just seems to be the right combination of core and case. Two ways to stop it are use a smooth sided...

Here is a pic of the NOE Frankenstein bullet I load in my 8x56R cartridges. I coat them with Hi Tek and either use "the load" or 2400. I started with the 16 grs. of 2400 load and worked up for a bit more power.

I have found with some of my NOE moulds that it takes a few casting sessions to get them going good. Not sure why but I have had it happen more than once where on the third session a switch flips and they start turning out great. Now if I have one...
