skeet1 replied to a thread White Label Lubes in Boolit Lube !
I have used many different brands of lube and most of them worked, some better than others. I have been using Carnuba Red for the last few years and I think I have found the one lube for all my purposes, handgun and rifle. When I first started using...

You guys are most welcome! Actually, I was browsing the Graf & Sons site looking for 6.5 x 55mm brass and jacketed bullets, read the above, and went back and found those Hornady 125gr. bullets.

Considering the .358 Win is based on the .308 case, I disagree. .358 Win is probably the finest cast bullet round you can chamber for.

I recall a so-called gunsmith who drilled through the barrel of a Sharps to mount sights. First shot, the sight took a trip.

Maven replied to a thread What type of lube in Muzzleloading.
vrh, What rfd said! And while I'm hesitant to recommend a particular lube because there are so many products and concoctions that work well, I use 1 Ballistol : 6 water or Stumpy's Moose Snot* and don't need to wipe the bore for an entire range...

That's the right way to do it. Also notice the notch on the front of the cock. If you guns don't have that, get out a file or Dremel and do it. It directs fragments away from the eyes, and helps split the fired cap for easier removal.

Maven replied to a thread Bore Butter for lube? in Boolit Lube !
Greg, I sometimes use a hollow stick version of Bore Butter (made by Ox Yoke years ago & purchased at a ridiculously low price) for both rifle & revolver CB's. As it works quite well, I don't why you couldn't do the same with T/C's product. Let...

Yep, they do that. People around here open the hoods of the vehicle when camped in the back country. The pack rats prefer enclosed spaces

..............Picked up the Winchester M67A at a local indoor range for $225. It's in at least VG condition with a mirror bore. According to details, it was built in 1936. It has 2 common hiccups. It was D&T'd for a sidesaddle scope mount at some...
