Thanks to all for the advice and sharing experiences. I guess I just need to get over my desire for shiny new looking brass. I'm sure that thousands of dollars worth of therapy will take care of that. Maybe some trauma in my childhood is driving me...

The brass is Cavim 90 & 91 MilSurp brass. I have already processed them properly, including the Dillon Swage. I unfortunately overloaded them just a hair for my Windham, Maine Bushmaster, and to be safe, pulled the bullets and powder. These are...

So WHY were you being stupid? Did some of them misfire after reloading? Did some actually fire in the tumbler? These are not corroded at all....just not shiny like I like them. I am still on the fence about this.

04-03-2020, 09:20 AM let's explore that. The cases are primed. I looked at the primer being used and it would have to be a VERY small piece of debris to get in the anvil (not that it couldn't happen), and the flash hole is already plugged by the primer. I...

I have a few hundred primed military 308 brass that I broke down a few years ago. I pulled the bullets and recycled the powder (I had just loaded them so I know what the powder was) In this coronavirus thing I am spending LOTS of time in the...

Just finished another run of casting/sizing/reloading. 357 magnum this time. With this Wuhan virus flying around, and basically all my projects on hold, I have been spending a lot of time in the casting/reloading stall. (also stacking 6 cords of...

Stacking 6 cords of wood, loading 2000 357's with H&G #51 gc, prepping 223 and 308 brass, spring clean up yard work. I could get used to this!

Amen brother. I bought 300 25-20's (formed from 32-20) from him literally a week before he passed. I shoot them in my Savage Sporter. Perfect brass in all respects. If he said the sun is green, I would believe him. RIP Grumpa.....

I am a hermit by nature anyway, so this is easy stuff for me. Since I don't have TV, and haven't for 25 years, I am doing yard work (when it isn't snowing), but mostly in the man cave. I just prepped 500 brass (size/trim/chamfer/swaged/pp cleaned)...

My son and daughter were introduced to guns at about age 9 or 10. We started with 22's. My daughter was a crack shot right out of the chute. Both had fired suppressed full auto guns by the time they were 11. Both have enormous respect for guns...
