I've been using the SS media for several years now and it's the best thing I've ever used in my 50 years of loading. There is a slight learning curve with the SS but it's nothing that any loader can't do. The biggest thing is cleaning your pins when...

When I was 12 I built a 17' skiff with my grandfather, resorcinol and plywood, (pre-epoxy). In college I built, and helped build about 40 white water kayaks, hand lay ups in molds. Epoxy is definitely the way to go. You can vary the strength and...

I don't care so much about crazy colors, but I do use colors to identify loads, especially in 45 Colt. In 45 Colt I use bright red to identify Ruger only loads, yellow for max loads at normal pressures for all guns and white for target loads. This...

I don't intend to get into a argument with any member on this forum but for a fellow member to say that I don't know how to use my equipment and that's the reason for problems with the Lee pot is very discourteous to say the least. I started...

Yes, that is the bleed hole. When cleaning or changing lubes you unscrew this screw and use a hair dryer or heat gun to melt the lube and this hole makes it easier to clean it all out. Every person has his way but if you have solid sticks then you...

Sometimes life's little things are the best way, it's a great joy to take a few things and mix them together and see it work. This not only gives a person pleasure but lets them know that when all the new fancy stuff goes away, they are able to do...

I started early in IHMSA as my member number was #725 and we shot our matches in NewOrleans. My good friend, Greg Phares was the First La. State Champ with a 31 score shooting a Ruger 44 mag. I shot a S&W model 57 with 6 inch bbl and while shooting...

Looks like a good bullet for '73's. The Ubertis tend to have blowback, I know my wife's does. Running heavier bullets and .454 diameter helps some, as well as using a good roll crimp. Using thinner brass, like Winchester and Starline helps also....

I would think it should work OK for lead core bullets, I resized some .323 jacketed down to .318 with a Lee type sizer. I used a Rockchucker and coated the bullets with Lee case lube or Imperial case forming lube. I never tried solid copper bullets...
