9 mm's head space on the case not the rim. You say it is happening in all your 9 mm's so is it possible your cases are too short and thus going in to the chambers so par that the firing pin is not contacting the primers on the short cases?

Read some where it can be used for subsonic loads and was designed for the 300 blackout. But have not found any data. I got it for use in my 17HH but have not had a chance to try it.

I built one in 1985, that is a 54 cal. worked on it while watching TV. Filed and sanded the barrel down to crocus cloth grade then had it hot blued. It's like looking into a dark blue mirror. Finished stock with 2 light coats of maple stain, 7...

Thats why I changed from the 308 to a 300 Wby mag as my elk rifle about 10 years ago. The 308 served its purpose (1969 to 1985) till I could afford something else. I don't own an 06 never figured 250 fps made that much difference at the distances I...

My 308 has never had an elk escape from it, 4 at last count and using 110gr hp it kills coyotes too. 7mm-08 is a necked down 308, it'll get it done too. Neither are a bad choice in my mind.

That explains why I am having trouble getting it to blend in with my WW's. I thought it was because my pot would not get hot enough. Now I have to try something else. :kidding:

I don't empty mine to make an adjustment on my BB. I take the plastic drop tube out, put the cap on the hopper and adjust away. I have almost quit using the RCBS rotors.
