This is a quest of mine also. I have the CZ 527 and it has a wonderful cast bore. I have ordered the Lee 160 grain tumvle lube gas check mold and have about 10 other molds to try including a 311410 (Lyman and Mihec versions) and some 32-20...

The vent lines are those groves across the faces. They have to be clean or open to let air out as alloy goes in. I use a popsicle stick sharpened to clean the lines, it also helps if the mould is hot. I try to avoid using metal but have found that...

We've had that in Colorado for a few years. Never enforced. Had a CHP officer running in the left lane of I25 for close to 10 miles not long ago with no one on the center lane and no lights. At least they weren't tailgating him like they normally do...

Ok... Shot some groups with the new boolit and it shoots awful so far. Probably my fault as I was out of 45/45/10 and made a small amount "on the fly". I'm sure I had too much floor wax and too little alox. This was the only load that ever really...

A friend gave me about a 100 of the Lee .440 for my BP pistol and you are right they have a small flat spot on the ball. May be why I was taken back with the small nub left on the .535's. Thanks much for your help and I apologize to Beagle333 for...

Mine is a 2008 50AE, anything less then 29.0 gr of H4227 under a 335 gr bullet will not cycle the slide. It really likes 29.9gr H4227 but that is a little above the book numbers but no pressure signs on the primer or case. Mine only gets J words,...

I use these and have cut them down to fix in my toaster oven pan. They work great even if the boolit lay's on its size like 223 and 172's tend to do. When cool you can brush off most of the melted powder so they are cleaner the next time and the...
