you'll definitely need 2 lubes. I do up here but not as far up the heat index. you'd do well with the red/blue above 50 and something much softer below.

yes I don't try for a heavy coat either. I did at first then realized I wasn't getting a good smooth coating. make sure you put a little lube on them before you size them. it sucks melting drilling beating them out of the die.

I'd say it will at 50. I would modify it for the 20 end of things.

They look fine. If you pan lubricated them, you would have shot them by now with out the muss, cost and health risk of powder coating.

You have moved quite a bit my friend. It was good to get on it. I was dual wielding the 2 molds and filling and popping sprue plates with aplomb. It's like I never stopped. I need to get after it again however. I realized I have molds I never...

boat paddle type marlin rifles in 375 are going for 6-650$, a nice one will fetch 7-750$ easily. the win BB's in 375 will fetch the same 7-750$ if in good shape. they didn't make that many of the 375 marlins, and they probably ain't making any...

boolit - cast bullet- jacketed. it just simplify's things on the board. you can bump your 308's up to 311 and the Hollywood is surely capable of doing the job. they used to make a bar for the Hollywood presses you added in when using the press...

check the diameter. I could possibly just load mine as is how is but they also drop from the mold at 3565 to begin with. I still get one that is harder to push through the size die every handful or two.

I paper patch for .30-40 and have used lubricated patches but now use only non lubricated patches. The lubricated patch on bullets, when left loaded for an extended period, sticks to the case neck and tears off when fired. Accuracy is deplorable....

I seat to the groove for my revolver and just over the band for the model 92. my 92 will feed 200gr swc's for the 45 acp set up the same way so it's worth a try in your marlin.

bismuth and tin melts at such a low temperature the hard part would be getting the mold hot. but it would cast like a champ. I would invest in some larger drippers for my shot maker.
