At standard pressures suitable for the S&W Model 10 you don't need the GC. At 1.46" minimum OAL 4 grains of Bullseye or 5 grains of Unique is a full-charge load. You can increase the charge up to 0.4 grain with either powder for +P, according to...

What revolver are you shooting these in? For a standard-pressure load safe in the Charter Bulldog and older pre-WW2 revolvers 5 grains of Bullseye, Red Dot or Trail Boss will work fine with up to a 215-grain bullet. In a stronger, modern...

+1 for the JB and Kroil treatment. Follow that with Sweet's or Shooter's Choice Copper Remover and then repeat the JB and Kroil. After that if you can push a wet patch through the bore smoothly without tearing it or getting it stuck it is...

Before you start modifying the gun, if the gun shoots high, try a lighter bullet and also a lighter load. For SASS you want a powder puff anyway. About 3 grains of Trail Boss with 110-grain should work.

Limiting factor is now tight the chamber neck is to ensure adequate release clearance. In most .32 Specials I have loaded for a .323" bullet will chamber easily without resistance and is no issue. RCBS 32-170FN with 30 grains of IMR4895,...

My bullet is Accurate 31-100T. Also be aware that bore and groove dimensions of the TT pistols vary greatly. While I've never seen one with a groove diameter smaller than .307" I've measured several which were .312-.313" and an undersized cast...

May I ask if you are mouth expanding your brass before bullet seating? It sounds like you are not, which is a recipe for failure. I use Starline brass in my 7.62x25s. I also expand and bell the mouths using a short .32 ACP expander plug, so...

Use same charge weight as for Bullseye in most standard pressure, not+P handgun rounds. 2 grains with 77-87-grain cast in .32 ACP is full charge load.

Absolutely. With smokeless powder the heel doesn't upset as well as it does with black, so the driving band above the heel must fit the cylinder throats and be somewhat larger than groove diameter. Harry O knows his stuff.

You might consider instead the 10x25mm Rimmed, made by necking down Starline .44 Russian brass. About 8% more capacity than the 10mm Auto, but no danger it getting into an old .38-40 by mistake. John Taylor has the reamer and can also make dies....

The J-frames are difficult to shoot well and with the large 0.008"+ cylinder gaps they are commonly shipping them with now and only a 1-7/8" barrel you lose 30-40 fps over a K-frame having a true 2-inch barrel and a snug cylinder gap of...

The caveat is that the bullet profile must permit seating bullets to 0.94" minimum overall cartridge length and also have them still chamber in the pistol. At shorter OAL the shank of the bullet intrudes too deeply into the powder space and will...
