You can call it your Space Cowboy Gun. It looks odd but I could get past it because it is a 10mm. It has a lot going for it in my eyes. A strong single action, so you can really load the 10mm to its potential

I always thought that my mod#105 had more power than the Red Ryder. Gosh talking about this makes me want to buy one of each. It brings back a lot of great childhood memories

Ham Radio Prep is a great site. For under $20 I think you can get some really good education and teaching. The site has test quizzes and if quite a lot of fun to use

If you look around on eBay you can find a old Weaver steel scope. Make sure it works and has clear lenses. The smaller K series scope are not being repaired anymore. I buy them when I see them. I think they look perfect on old guns, vs the late...

All lasers are very close to the same as far as what they do. It is the mountings, and the quality of the materials used that makes one different from the other. The laser portion for all practical purposes is the same. I have used the low priced...

One I forgot to mention was my Ruger single six. It was a 1956 model with the flat loading gate. It was made one year only. I had the side rig holster and belt with it. It had great character and wear in all the right places. I miss it at times

I miss my Winchester mod 52B. It had a Lyman super target spot scope on it. I sold it when I filed for a divorce. I won several small bore matches with it. It was amazing to shoot

At this point in time getting any boolit molds might be tough. But all of the suggestions from the other members are great ones. The 44 mag is a reloaders dream. You can go from a powder puff load, to a hand cannon

Only sand the mount if you plan to glue it to the receiver. Please don't sand the receiver, clean it with acetone several times. It will draw the oil out of the steel and the JB weld will adhere wonderfully

Get a vintage weaver scope. A 4x or 6x will look great on the rifle. I would not drill and tap the old guy, but instead you can use jb weld and glue scope mounts on the receiver. If you ever change your mind you just heat the mounts with a propane...
