Is that the Russian Paradox or Tusker? I thought the Paradox had a round nose but then neither is quite like the original... not that is matters, they are all nice slugs the Russian moulds cast. That is a whopper when you use the Gulandi pin! How...

I figured someone would have posted something that would show up on Google images but no! There were lots of Lee Loader data cards for a variety of calibers but not for the 6.5 x 55. I'm guessing you want the actual card though not just a copy of...

Thanks BigMrTong. They don't look as nice as your 3D printed tail wads though. But for us guys without 3D printers these are pretty easy to make. I am still having some trouble getting the felt to punch cleanly as is seems to "squirm" a bit...

A local guy did fight the power company and won, when they were widening the highway. Drive north from my place towards Kalispell, and you will see where the power lines make a jog around the front of the Cycle Haus property.

I agree with soaking it, or removing the rust in some way. If it still won't work, take it to the gun smith. The tiny roll pins that hold the safety in place can be a real booger to deal with.

Got a bicycle shop near by? They sell the CO2 dischargers, cheaper than a sporting goods shop. Get a couple ball inflator needles, cut them off past the vent holes in the tip.

for rusting, wash down with baking soda and water. Then, heat the metal, then pour boiling water over the area, or steam the barrel to turn the rust into blue. It should actually be kept up to heat for 20-25 minutes, but even a dose of the boiling...

If you are cutting the entire crimp off including rolled edge you might try using a piece of 3/4" pipe cut and faced to the correct length. That is what I use for hull length cutting and gauges. I use a utility knife to cut across the face. Works...

You might try using a paper wrap or two on the undersize slugs. That should tighten them up to suit the bore. Round balls are nice though I have to say. My goal has been decent hunting level accuracy to 100 yards with slugs from smoothbore but...

I bored a piece of pipe nipple to wad size (yes, crude I know but it already had a large hole in it so less machining than solid bar) and made a close fitting insert with a hole through it to fit a 3" finishing nail (about 1/8" diameter IIRC) that...

Okay so back to 2 ball loads. I just mic'd and weighed a few random balls and they mic within about 0.001"/0.0015" of round, which is good in my opinion, and they weigh from 314 grs. + a bit to 318 grs. + a bit so say nominal 316 grs. These are...

I should add that donut wads are normally used under a single ball. The bore diameter dount wads would sit over a hard card wad column and under a 0.690" RB or up to bore diameter RB (I use 0.735"). For smaller balls in shotcups you could use a 20...
