Soft brass will be stretched more easily - hence you 12 to 15% needing trimmed - at the same time the extractor or ejector could be causing Bent Rim deformation so as to not fit into a tight shell holder.

Cooler with steel plate on bottom, filled with rubber mulch and rubber mat glued to top, then tipped on edge - but only have shot mild subsonic loads at 12 yards.

15meter I hear you on the use of fillers and caution due to ringing a chamber or a barrel. I will say that I have fired many many loads of 5744 in my 505 Gibbs shooting a 525 grain boolit with about 1.5 gr on dacron fluffed out to fill the void...

No, a firearm on the registry as a SBR is still a SBR no matter what longer barrel you put on it unless you notify BATFE of a permenant change and ask for it to be removed from the registry

15meter Thank you for the load info! I will do some calculating to see how that works out for me using your formula. I am with you on finding a cheaper powder. 5744 is some of the most expensive powder from what I have seen. I have some SR4759 that...

I do basically the same way as you have listed with exception of case trimming. I measure case length and try to get a length that is below max that has a large number of cases. The longer cases go into a container with a note "needs trimming"....

The "fake news" and "Trump bashing" is beyond belief to me. I can't and won't tolerate it. I cannot see why so many news networks, their people, as well as senators, congressmen, and governors seem to have to take an anti-American stance to oppose...

So you've owned a Co-ax? I used to set mine up on a board that replaced the bread board in the kitchen cabinets - no issue doing that - when I mounted RCBS press that way I had to jamb a 2x4 under the bread board.
