I've recently cleaned up the gun room and have some parts, rings and bases for sale. The first public "I'll take it" followed with a PM gets it. Prices do not include shipping but I will ship the cheapest way and combine shipping if multiple items...

Thats about the way we started. A 10# cast iron Lyman pot on a Coleman stove with 1 ingot mold and a soup ladle. Now I use a 400# capacity pot on a 500,000 BTU Jet burner with 8 ingot molds, a nice Rowell Ladle and a nice skimmer. I can process 400#...

I have tumbled primed brass that was not loaded and I had a few misfires. I don't remember what grit corncob I was using but apparently some managed to work its way into the flash hole. I have also dry tumbled loaded ammo with no problems. No...

I love my cat! But She lives in the house. 100% inside cat! Not out fertilizing the neighbors flower beds or eating song birds. I also love birds. I would be afraid to guess how much we spend feeding them. Sunflower seeds by the 50# sack. Sugar...

There are so many that just disappear and you wonder where they went. Its good, in a sad way, to just know. Kind of like having some closure. I read back on some of the older longer threads, like "do you have a lifetime supply", and wonder at the...

About the same time that I finished typing this yesterday I called the local tire shop owner and ordered a set of tires (ouch) for my Wife's Expedition. This morning I got up early and drove to a nearby town to the nearest donut shop and bought...

Welcome Aboard. It looks like you are off to a good start. Be sure to take care of those guys at the tire store. Something like a box of donuts early one morning or a 6 pack of beer late in the day, if they are drinkers. Maybe throw a little...

I only have 2 presses, a Rockchucker and a 550. They are mounted on opposite ends of my 9ft bench, leaving the middle open for scales, loading trays, powder measures, bullet sizers, ect. I have owned a few other presses but I just don't have the...

I just don't know right now. The Lyman has mixed reviews. The ProMelt11 had so many problems that they too it off the market. You still see an original ProMelt for sale from time to time. Magma Engineering makes a nice pot. But its a 40# pot and...

I have had the same experience with 5 gallon buckets but my acid has not been exposed to the sunlight. At least not on my watch. It won't be any big deal for me to just set the gallon jug of acid in a 2 gallon plastic bucket. I'm not going to pour...

Lead from race car counter weights can be about anything. Pretty often wheel weights were used just because of the close association between race cars and tires and wheels. Most non casters don't know much about zinc and theres no real reason for...
