ACC replied to a thread midway did it again in Our Town
Before my brother died, this past September he bought a brand new LEE 20 pound pot. Used it twice before he died. I got a hold of it and melted some metal in it. It had a catastrophic failure, where all the melted metal just ran out the bottom. ...

I was given a Lyman taper crimp die for 9mm. No instructions, and I can't find anything about a Lyman die. It is not a seater die also. Just a taper crimp. Can someone explain to me or send me somewhere I can find out how to use this. ACC

I have been told that cable pulling lube works great for sizing cases. There is a water based one that they are talking about. Is this true? Any one try this? If it was to work it would be a whole lot cheaper than the LEE lube. ACC

Anybody have experience with gray, silver or clear powder coating powders. I don't want to have my boolits stand out. I want them to just be close to looking like normal boolits. Do these powders apply as easy as the black I have? (Eastwood) ...

My brother was a harder the better guy. I have found that out hunting with cast boolits, this is not always what you want. Although I have taken many a feral hog with boolits that he cast super hard, we would argue over this. I would like at...

Way back, when dinosaurs roamed the earth, my brother and I collected and did all our casting with wheel weights. We paid 10 cents a pound. Good Times, Good Times. That was then (1973) today so much junk is used for balancing tires that it ain't...

I am looking for opinions here. My brother said that the only good cast boolit was a hard one. So that being said. I have tons of alloy he melted into Lee ingots. I have tried the finger nail test, and I can't afford to go get a lead hardness...

Those would be great for hunting as a soft cast bullet will expand and not just be a cast FMJ. My pistol hunting boolits I am trying to keep around 8 to 9. That's why I ask the questions I ask. My rifle boolits, my brother kept around 16 or...

Go to Accurate Bullet molds. They have a Keith Type my brother designed for NEI and Accurate took it over. Good hunting bullets. As hard as my brother was casting it, it would end up weighing 107 or there abouts. ACC
