My Lyman reloading book says trim to length should be 1.149 the brass I received averages 1.141 for ten case average. I don't think it will make a deference just have adjust my dies a little. Just unusual for Starline. ACC

Just got an order of .38 Special Starline Brass. Usually Starline is great stuff, but it seems that my sampling of the brass shows that it is quite a bit shorter than trim to length. Anyone else have this problem? The 357 brass I also ordered was...

MY BinL loves Red Dot in his .45 ACP. It'll do great in a .45 Long Colt as well. Work up to 6.5 as the recoil can be nasty if you are not prepared for it. The 6.5 230 grain SWC in a Blackhawk would be a good up close deer round. ACC
