It looks like a Maxi Ball. https://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item/000152640616/single-cavity-rifle-bullet-maxi-ball-mould-number-454616-45-caliber-245-grain Sent from my VS880 using Tapatalk

Try using a 308 lube sizing die as a push thru. I pull a lot of dud rounds that I pick up at the indoor range and I use the lube dies to iron them out.

My advice buy or barter for a cheap set. Beadblast the exterior. You'll need to protect the cavity with something, so some experimentation will need to be done. Keep your temp between 285 and 300 F. The bead blasted surface should come out a matt...

I have two of the old style RCBS blocks. They work pretty good, but for handgun I mostly use empty 40 S&W Speer plastic trays. Most eveything I load fits in them. I like them because they are smaller than the rcbs trays, and I can fit four(more if I...

For general purpose dies, I like Lee. As far as premium dies go, Redding or Forster are top shelf. Sent from my VS880 using Tapatalk

You can use the two cavity Lyman handles if you do a bit of filing. The Lee six cavity handles will fit them too. Just for fun I tried it on some Lee two cav handles. Dang if it didn't fit. The screw is tight though. I guess that's a good thing, it...

I have never seen one of the old toggles break. I've seen a ton of the ones that replaced them, get broken. Can you guess which one is the original? Sent from my VS880 using Tapatalk

I may be able to part with one, IF I can figure out how to get that toggle to work with one from my old Challenger press. I'll let you know. PM Sent Sent from my VS880 using Tapatalk

You should be able to swap the ram out for one of the replacements from CH4D. It takes regular shellholders. Sent from my VS880 using Tapatalk

I think the Lyman pin might fit. One of my Pacific pins, and collar fit. The other doesn't. My Herters assembly, and collar fit it. My 32 acp RCBS seating plug fits the die. Sent from my VS880 using Tapatalk

You can upgrade the handle to the newer version they use on the Challenger. I think they quit making the old toggles in 2004. That aluminum linkage was replaced with that stamped steel part in the eighties. Just scroll down the page, and you'll see...
