I have a Leupold 2x on one revolver and a Ultradot on another and iron on another, the 2x is nice offhand and very good off of a rest. I really like the Ultradot for hunting as it is fast on target and doesn’t magnify your shake. The iron sights...

Documentation, please as I cannot find where they have stopped production of pistols. They appear to have stopped production of the double stack 1911 that was a Para clone. Should they be getting out of the pistol business I would like to confirm...

Also don’t overlook Remington R1. I bought an R1S off for under $600.00 less than a year ago and have loved it. It is my go to for carry and fun shooting auto. Since the 1911 and the revolvers have joined the stable my plastical guns are getting...

Nice. Wendyj just got some real time stats from you with the contender in 460. One day I might make the jump to a s&w 460. For now a 454 is about as much as I want to tote or touch off. Impressive numbers on it though, wow.

That is awesome looking. Did you run them through a chrome to check your speed?? It looks like you have the speed dialed in for expansion without fragmentation. The MP hp molds cast great boolits too.

Definitely PID. Set it and cast at your desired temp the entire casting session. Can make your own setup pretty frugally by YouTube instructions and fleabay if funds are tight.

Thank you and yes it is a huge hp. With acww they come in right at 330 grains checked and coated. Enough to make an impression on your target. Max velocity I could get was about 1570. I am sure the 460 would up that noticeably. They drop at 454...

I have recently bought a MiHec 45-340 gas check hp. Have had preliminary luck with a couple loads over H110 and HS6 both with Winchester primers. I have not had a chance to get serious about chasing the most accurate load as I was just working up...

You will love it. I had to crank the the heat up a bit more to 750f but as soon as everything was good and hot they pile up fast. I washed the mold with Dawn and heat cycled 3 or 4 times then started casting. The penta makes a wicked looking bullet.

I got in my gas checks and loaded up a bunch with H110 to climb the ladder. The mold makes beautiful hollow points, anyway I used the penta pin and once it got up to the higher velocities it would print an outline on the ar500 steel. I will admit I...

I agree with Gunslinger get the silicon sheets and don’t look back. They are the easiest most durable option and you can get two out of a single sheet.
