Today, 01:01 AM is the hammer pull? Can a kid or gal operate it?? That is one of the biggest complaints I have with my Henry SS.....that the hammer pull is tough for me and would be for many others. While the trigger pull is "hard" at least it...

I am pretty sure I have extra 44 & 45A pilots for the Lyman trimmer. It’ll be a couple of days before I can check.

My Ruger original Vaquero .44-40 came with a .429" barrel and a cylinder having a .444 neck diameter and .426 cylinder throats. It shot jacketed factory OK, but not lead. My S&W 544 Texas Commemorative also has a .429 barrel, but the cylinder...

I have a few old typewriters, including a Royal, Corona, and an L.C. Smith, and I am pretty the key heads are not made for any alloy of lead. If so they just wouldn't last very long.

As far as I can remember, every brick like that, with or without holes, has melted down into nice mostly pure lead ingots. The nice thing is that they rarely have much dross when melted also, unlike roof sheeting.

I have two Cattleman revolvers in 44-40 - one with the 7.5" barrel and one with the 4.75" barrel - and both barrels had the same front sights. I did have to file the front sight of the short barreled revolver to get it close to hitting the target....

Obviously people in Finland care a little more about their jobs than the people we get here in California. Our guy couldn't even walk 30 feet more to the Front Door. Miha does nice work. I showed it to my wife and she even said it looked nice. ...

If you just need the one caliber get the Lyman M die and don't look back. In fact, I'm using one on my 25 Krag AI with the condom bullets so that I have consistent neck tension. If you already have the Lee neck flare die go to the NOE site and...

If it brushes out easily it is likely an antimony wash, common enough experience. If you are getting a lube star your lube is hanging on the full length of the barrel.

If you are serious about this give Dave Davidson (CH4D) a call and see what he has for dies on the shelf. I would not be suprised if he already has a 6.5 Krag - but is it the design you want?

Throw the rule out ... the case mouth is up against the bullet base when breech seating and there is always air in the case unless the case is COMPLETELY filled with powder which not going to happen with a normal data book reload powder charge....

P&P--right with ya, sir. Just my biases......I think the S&W J-frame and the Ruger GlockRevolver as a platform for 357 Magnum ammunition is ridiculous. Even current SAAMI-level 357 ammo hurts like %$*& to shoot in those small, light little...

I had use of a Model 13 x 3" for several months. Well-nigh perfect with Pachmayr Compacs on its RB frame. Medium-frame/3" barrel/357 Magnum is a GREAT concept for CCW.
