I traded for a 1884 Trapdoor today, pretty good blue, case is thin on the outside of the action, but when you open the trap, the case is mostly there, and on the tang. Blue is pretty good, fading to plum in some areas. Action and lock are both...

I have a good friend, who I cast the Keith style semi wadcutter for that comes out to 265 grain, in a 70/30 mix of soft lead/wheel weights. He started out with a 200gr, and then went to a 230 gr cast bullets, neither one killed deer very well. He...

I remember Will Tang who had a shop just off water street in Allegan. He was crusty and hard to talk to if you just wanted to shoot the breeze. But he knew his business. I had him mount a Lyman 17A sight on my remington 22, He charged me $6 labor...

Pretty good shooting for a short lever action. I had 2 1894's awhile back, a .357 and .44 mag, the .44 would shoot rings around the .357. They both shoot very good but the .44 always shot better.
