You'd be more likely than not to wind up injured around here. I don't go into the woods around here without hunter orange and then only to check on my property. I live in a rural area and leased land is mostly for out of state hunters. You are...

not a true thread mic since it does not measure pitch diameter , but they do make 60 degree point mics to be used as comparators http://www.starrett.com/metrology/product-detail/210AP

I plan on both using and collecting. The using is because I live in a 1 bedroom loft with my family and as such a reloading room is impossible and thus my presses stay packed. I enjoy the old school tools but I am not opposed to a newer one to use...

No matter what you do, you will not fool the nose of a buck or bull. You just need to play the wind game with them, and hope you win. There is a particular bush in front of my cabin that I pee on daily. Been trying to kill it for years. The deer...

Take a fired case, and slip a bullet in the neck. There should be slight resistance. That is what you are looking for. You aren't fitting a bullet to the bore, you need it to fit the throat.

I concur 100%. Only took one deer and one antelope with the 22 cal Barnes X but have killed a bunch of deer with 6mm in a 243 Win. Everyone performed superbly. I did witness a large Bison bull killed by a young girl with a 6mm Rem use Barnes...

I am looking for hopefully the black and red box Lee loader in 45-70. Accidentally sold one of mine before my move as I had two kits and meant to keep one of them. They were both in like new condition so that stings a bit also .

Problem is, most times you won't get back your own meat. They do them in big batches. While you may have taken perfect field care of your deer, you are just as likely to get back some of Bubba's gut shot hairy mess.

When I get FTF in a batch of primers, I always check to see if I have a broken firing pin. Since you had misfires in two firearms, I'd say they are defective.

A good lesson for everyone, especially businesses. So many businesses don't keep hard copy records anymore. Major computer disruption, all the info is gone. Stores can't even make change anymore with electricity out.
