PAndy replied to a thread Lee molds for 30\30 win in Cast Boolits
I have bought Lee 150 grain GC bullets from two commercial bullet casters. My win '94 rifling lightly scores the noses. No effect on function and they shoot well. The noses measure about 0.301" to 0.303" ... neither is quite round. The rcbs 180...

H-4895 powder works well in my Winchester. I start 165 gr cast with about 21 grains of powder. Can work up a couple more grains if needed for accuracy. I have also heard of folks using 15-16 grains of 4198. These are a little powder position...

The loads shared here with faster powders like unique, green dot, bullseye might suit your needs very well. I would not use jacketed bullets with the mild loads. Cast have been much more predictable and consistent in my experiments with mild loads.

To me, the lee 150 is a funny looking bullet with a short nose. But they shoot well so I use them. The lands in my win 94 lightly rub the noses when chambered, crimped in the groove.

Best accuracy with my Henry .357 rifle has been a 140 gr Missouri flat point bullet over 5.8 grains of Shooters World Ultimate Pistol. It makes under 1300 fps from a 20" barrel . Other good loads were 5 grains +/- of American select, WST, and...

Shooters World Buffalo is good, but the bottles we tried this year appear to be somewhat slower than 5744 data. Burned a little slower than 4198 in 30-30 loads . 5744 data should certainly be safe, but expect less fps.
