Nueces did not break any rule by posting his link but EBAY links are not allow you can refer to the header in the swapping and selling section where it is listed. Hope this clears things up.

When you look at the swapping and selling section in the header it tells you what is required 30 days 30 post. Post in areas such as the pit and in swapping and selling do not count threads there are deleted when they become inactive to free up the...

HABCAN replied to a thread 6.5x55 Swede questions in Cast Boolits
The 6.5 Swede can be a puzzler. It's NOT a caliber I'd recommend a newbie to start learning reloading on!! Boolits must fit a rifle's THROAT, and Midsouth's cheaper special LEE 170 gr. Cruise Missile mold gives boolits that WILL work (or NOT!) in...

FWIW, my $0.02.........There's NEVER 'Enough', 20 is 'Some', 10 is 'a Tolerable Amount', 5 is 'a Few', 2 is 'One', and 1 is 'None'. That can be translated to thousands of primers, pounds of powder, boxes of ammo, groceries......whatever suits YOUR...

Its not complicated different alloys react different were all not using the same alloy. Air cool water drop or heat treat will vary from member to member to may factors for a simple yes or no answer. My simple answer would be IF air cool then PC in...

Like I said, to each his own. It's more 'art' than 'science', and VERY 'individual'. I get a little cross with these guys that ask a thousand questions vs. reading the posts and then just TRYING something/ANYTHING (and reporting results).

I guess it must work for some, but not for me.............it doesn't matter if the boolits are warmed: the powder adheres by electrostatic charge.

You may be able to coat and start baking when the PC starts to melt take them out of the oven and dust with your compound if its the dry type then finish baking not sure what will happen but may work.

At a guess, looking at those pics, I'd say your patch is 'way too thin and your boolit is cast 'way undersize. Good results have been had with with big fat projectiles: two wraps of wet copy paper unsized after drying on a nominal cast .312 LEE...

You may want to spray then transfer them to a cooking sheet still use the foil. Yes it takes more time but saves you some trouble such as flashing at the base. I also recover the over spray and reuse it. As one batch is baking you can be working on...
