For coyote and prairie dogs the reticle in the 1 - 8x24mm is more useful since it has windage hold offs. I may get one myself. Not really sure what the reticle in the 1 - 6 is...

In machining, chatter is the vibration that feeds on itself as the tool moves across the part. What you have appears to be a broach cut barrel using a dull or damaged broach. The damage areas are from the base metal tearing due to the dull or...

There is no direct correlation. Low SD and ES don't become a factor until the yardage gets long for that cartridge and target size small. A simple example is 308 in match rifles. At 200 &300 yards group size is my primary concern since poor...

Even on cheap scopes clarity is rarely an issue anymore. Tracking and repeatability is a major issue even on the high end stuff. Not an issue for the average hunter/shooter but competitors that are using the knobs all the time will have scope...

The reason for the stitching is to use 2 thinner pieces of leather back to back so you have smooth leather on both sides. Stitching a solid leather belt doesn't do anything for the strength. My belts are one piece, and I make the carry belts out of...
