I can't address how government contractors get by with this. Within actual government agencies you have to have a equal or higher security clearance and most importantly an need to know. Of course inside threats will always find a way to...

Just go the The Goodwill and get a large steel cookpot, but a nice thicker one. I have a couple that are about 12" across, work great on my turkey fryer. Easier than cutting propane tanks in half.

As usual Larry is spot on with his advice. Both loads of the OP's smokeless loads are recommended trap door loads. In many loadings Smokeless Powder has a softer pressure curve than BD. I used to load for a reenactment group mostly with smokeless...

The Hornady Headspace Comparator does exactly what it is claimed to do and it does it very well. Hornady calls it a COMPARATOR for a reason. It was not designed as a direct measurement tool unless used in conjunction with a actual standard like a...

The difference in peoples experiences on this type of stuff always surprised me. Between my 650's and my 1050 I have loaded 80K to 100K of bottleneck cases. Mostly .223 and 308. I do have a vacuum and compressed air at each machine. Never stuck...

If you are using the Lock-N-LoadŽ Headspace Comparator https://www.hornady.com/headspace-bushings#!/ that is a comparator only unless used in conjunction with an standard such as an actual headspace gauge. Something like the RCBS Case Mic gives...

Dad had some Herter's that sound like a direct match. That was in 1970. They were purchased in the late 50's or 60's. They didn't perform well on game so they just sat on the shelf until I started shooting/reloading as a kid. I shot about 250 of...

Hornady One Shot case lube allowed to dry before adding to hopper. When I first started with my 650's I used Dillon lube but that turned into a sticky mess to the point the cases would stick in the feed tube. Switched to the Hornady and never...

That is dependent on the size of your chambers and how much you set the shoulders back and what type of dies you use. Bushing dies without the expander ball eliminate most of the neck cracking issues. Same for annealing. With basic reloading...

You ever been to an actual BR match?????? Lots of BR shooters load at the range with almost everything under the sun. Some use an arbor press and some use a variety of small little presses like the Harrell's or Hood. Some use threaded dies...

Lots of assumptions being made as to what real benchrest shooters use. BR is not my game and I don't compete in that discipline, however, I have barreled several 600 and 1,000 bench guns. At least on the long range side Redding neck bushing dies...
