I would have that conversation with him. Tell him that if he passes it's most likely that his wife or kids will just auction or pawn it all off. Tell him you'll buy it. He'll know it will be cared for and cherished and he can shoot them any time...

Does any one know which other brand of bushings will fit the Savage 630. I know that Mec's are too short. Thanks for the info.

Kimber Caprivi in 375 H&H. Super smooth right out of the box and a beautiful rifle by all accounts.

I now have 2 550's. I had a square deal and I found that my short fat hands just didn't work well with the small opening. Now, that's just me, other then that it's a sound press for what it's intended to do.

I'll Start, I have an older 100 with dies for 9mm, 38 super, 40 S&W, 45 ACP. I added a Dillon case feed and made a 3/8" cold roll steel base with large rubber feet attached to keep it from sliding. It does a wonderful job of getting rid of...

Per PW I have one of the first 250 800B's made. I was told that the first 250 had hand fitted parts. i also know that they no longer support the 800B platform, so what if any parts that have, that's it. There are a few guys buying up the old...

I just found this thread and thought I'd ask about the 2 pre RC presses I have. Both have 2 piece inserts where the dies are threaded in . One takes shell holders, but modern ones are too big. The second has collet to hold the rim with springs to...

Good morning guys, Just getting back to casting again after a 20 plus year hiatus (26 now that I think of it). Even then I was only dabbling, and as such I bought a can of Midway Mold release and it didn't work, except it really stuck to the...

I'd be interested to hear about penetration. Do you have any plans to get get some data on penetration at various yardages. I know what you have now will kill, snakes forms and mice. But I'd like to know how much penetration you get on something...

Although I haven't trapped since moving to Georgia, I still have all of my trapping and fur handling equipment stored neatly in the shed. When I did trap in east Central Illinois we had a huge water shed. In that I mean we had creeks and drainage...
